mTicket is an online service that allows an event organiser to market, sell and distribute tickets to an event using SMS text messaging technologies. We provide access to box-office facilities at a fraction of the cost of similar paper-based ticketing systems. If you are organising an event, we can help you organise the ticketing so you and your guests have a trouble-free event. There are four main steps to mobile ticketing:
- Promote your event
You can choose to send out an RSVP text to a list of your own mobile numbers and require guests reply to that message or we provide a short-code (UK only, enquire about other countries) that you can print or distribute. In either case event details are sent to your guests who can decide whether to act on your invite or promotional material.
- Sell tickets or provide free invites
If you just want to send out invites, that's fine, but if you wish to sell tickets we offer an online payment gateway. We take payment from your customers online and forward you the money no more than 12-hours after the event*. We also offer premium-rate facilities in the UK. We can also forward ticket requests to you if you have merchant facilities already.
- Deliver mTickets®
Once we have finished conducting a dialouge with your guest or a successful payment has been taken we deliver the final mTicket® containing the guests unique code.
- Redeem guests
We provide access to our Redemption Application so you can admit and redeem guest mTickets®. We recommed you access the Redemption Application using an Internet connected Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). These can be hired in many countries, or you may have your own!
